1. Who we are

2. What this policy covers
This policy covers personal data we collect through our website and from business contacts, such as prospective clients, clients, partners and suppliers.
It does not cover data processed inside our clients’ own environments when they use the Davynci platform. The platform is installed in the client’s own infrastructure, and the client controls that data. Where we handle any of it while providing services, we act only on the client’s instructions and under our contract with them.
3. What we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email address, company, job title and anything you write to us, for example when you contact us or book a meeting.
- Business contact information: details of the people we work with at clients, partners and suppliers.
- Technical information: when you visit our website, our hosting provider may process basic technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver and secure the website.
Our website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Meetings are booked through Calendly, a third-party scheduling service; when you book, Calendly collects your details under its own privacy policy and shares them with us.
4. Why we use it, and on what legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Responding to your enquiries and arranging meetings | Our legitimate interest in replying to you, or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract |
| Delivering our services and managing our business relationship | Performance of a contract |
| Meeting legal, accounting and regulatory obligations | Compliance with legal obligations |
| Keeping our website secure and working | Our legitimate interests |
| Sending you updates about Davynci | Your consent, which you can withdraw at any time |
We will not use your personal data for direct marketing without telling you first, and you can opt out at any time.
5. Who we share it with
- Service providers who help us run our business, such as website hosting, email and scheduling providers, under contracts that protect your data.
- Our professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants.
- Public authorities, where the law requires it.
We do not sell personal data.
6. Transfers outside the DIFC
Some of our service providers process data outside the DIFC, including in the United States. We transfer personal data only to jurisdictions the DIFC Commissioner of Data Protection recognises as providing adequate protection, or where appropriate safeguards are in place, such as standard contractual clauses, as permitted by law.
7. How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above: for the duration of our business relationship and any period required by law, and for general enquiries up to two years after our last contact. We then delete or anonymise it.
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
9. Your rights
Under DIFC law you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have it corrected if it is inaccurate;
- have it deleted;
- object to our use of it, including for direct marketing;
- restrict how we use it;
- receive it in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent;
- not be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing that significantly affect you.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@davynci.ai. We will respond within the time limits set by law.
10. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your personal data, please contact us first. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the DIFC Commissioner of Data Protection.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page, with the date it was last updated.
